Immerse yourself in a full day of luxury floristry, where you’ll explore the signature style, techniques, and philosophy of one of the UK’s leading floral design studios. Perfect for both enthusiastic beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this one-day workshop is a rare opportunity to learn two foundational floristry styles in one captivating experience.
Guided by our expert tutors, you'll begin with a deep dive into the McQueens approach, through inspiring demonstrations and step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn the craft of creating a perfectly balanced hand-tied bouquet. With the finest seasonal stems at your fingertips, our team will be on hand to support you as you spiral, shape, and refine your own bespoke design.
In the second half of the day, you’ll turn your attention to the low table vase arrangement, a timeless and versatile centrepiece for home or special occasions. You'll be guided through structure, balance, and composition as you build a striking, foam-free arrangement with professional polish.
Throughout the day, you’ll also gain valuable insight into conditioning, preparing, and caring for flowers, insider techniques that ensure your designs stay fresh, vibrant, and long-lasting.
From start to finish, this workshop is hands-on, creative, and deeply rewarding and at the end of the day, both of your beautifully crafted floral designs are yours to take home and enjoy.

Arrival time - Full-day classes begin at 10am and finish at approx. 4pm. Half-day classes will be either 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm, our team will reach out via email to confirm details. We advise students to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their class or workshop starts. During full-day workshops and one-week courses there is a one-hour lunch break.
Equipment - There is no need to bring anything with you - all equipment is provided. You may want to bring a notepad and pen if you'd like to make notes.
Lunch and refreshments - Lunch is not provided, however there is a small kitchen onsite with a microwave - and lots of eateries nearby. Tea and coffee and are provided throughout the day.

Certificates - Students who complete either a One Week or Four Week Career Course will receive a McQueens Flower School certificate on completion of the course.
International students from outside of the EU must obtain the correct visa to study with us.
Deposit notice for Career Course - if you have purchased a deposit for the Career Course, the balance must be made in full 4 weeks before the first day of the course. The balance will be sent to you via a payment link. Should you fail to pay the full balance 4 weeks before the course start date, your space will be put back on sale for others to purchase and your deposit will be refunded.
Letter to support visa - If you require a letter to support a visa application please contact our team - flowerschool@mcqueensflowers.com - who will confirm your booking and your intended attendance with McQueens Flower School.

Covid policy - If you have symptoms or have tested for Covid19 or are required to self-isolate please do not attend the school and contact flowerschool@mcqueensflowers.com to reschedule your booking.
Accessibility -Our Flower School has no lift access to our upstairs classroom.
Prospectus - Will be sent out for One Week and Career Courses only.
Student loans - We do not provide a student loan scheme.
Parking - There is no private parking for McQueens Flower School.
Age restrictions - The school can only admit people aged 18 and over.
Translators - Our lessons are delivered in English with demonstrations and teachers to support your learning.
Accommodation - The flower school is situated with access to many hotels nearby. We advise researching the best option for you via a booking's website.
Flowers - All of our lessons will feature flowers from our trusted suppliers and embrace the season. Every day you get to take home your arrangements and the flowers used.
Photography - You can't bring your own photographer, however, please feel free to take photos yourself. We have a photographer that will attend certain lessons to document your journey with us, if you do not want to be in any photos, please let us know.

A same-day delivery service is available for London addresses for orders placed before 12pm.
Nationwide Delivery
Standard - £25
A nationwide delivery service is available Tuesday-Saturday for orders placed before 12pm the day prior.
Each bouquet will arrive with flower care instructions. Please note, certain fragile products are available for a London delivery only.
Our delivery team will endeavour to deliver to the recipient however if no one is at home, your bouquet may be left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
