Job Title: Sales Executive with Floristry Experience

Department: Sales

Reports to: Customer Service & Sales Manager

Location: Bethnal Green, London

 Role:

The jobholder will be a member of the McQueens customer service team, with responsibility for giving great service to our customers by appropriately resolving incoming enquiries by phone and email, providing helpful and comprehensive product and service information, resolving product and service problems, carefully taking, and processing customer orders, and contributing to the growth of our company. You’ll also be responsible for aspects of business administration and operational support by taking care of daily and monthly sales reports, helping with month-end sales invoicing reconciliation, liaising with our delivery drivers and florists throughout the day to keep everything on track, and booking couriers when required. When busy we may also need you to turn to your floristry experience to support the floristry team with the making of daily orders.

With a relentless focus on understanding our customers’ needs and collaborating with relevant colleagues, you’ll combine a passion for solving problems, an attention to detail, and goodcommunication skills to solve problems and mobilise colleagues when required to help us deliver outstanding customer service, protect and grow customer revenue, and continue to elevate our brand reputation.

Job Title: Shop Manager

As well as taking responsibility for the shop and retail orders, you’ll be expected to support the wider business by helping to make up orders for our contract and corporate customers when required.

The Shop Manager needs to demonstrate creativity and technical competence as well as well-developed commercial, team and retail management skills and experience.

 Duties:

  • Accountable for the scheduling of the store team and the opening and closing of the retail space.

  • Conditioning and preparation of flowers, and training store team to prepare and maintain flowers to reduce damage and wastage.
  • Drive store sales to achieve agreed budgets and achieve agreed margin target
  • Preparing and publishing daily shop sales report and wastage with monthly sales summary at end of the period.
  • Commercial planning on identifying how to maximise special occasions and celebrations throughout the year and work with key functions to maximise these opportunities in you store location.
  • Responsible for ensuring the work of store team florists in your store location are working to the Mcqueens standards and quality.
  • Always comply with all company policies and procedures, health and safety, data, security and wastage and visual and social media.

 Requirements:

  • A team player and leader of store team
  • Excellent knowledge of flower varieties and floristry techniques and knowledge of conditioning and preparing flowers.

Above all else, you’ll be outstandingly talented and demonstrate a natural skill for sharing your passion and technical expertise in an engaging manner.

You’ll be responsible for the academic and pastoral achievements of your students – supporting, monitoring and guiding them at every step to achieve the highest level of academic success and emotional fulfilment.
