Job title: Digital and Social Media Marketing Manager

Location: Mayfair/Hybrid

McQueens Flowers is looking for a creative, scrappy, execution oriented Digital and Social Marketing Manager to join our Global Marketing team to plan, execute, and report on McQueens Flowers SEO and social media strategy. This role is responsible for conceiving, creating, and executing social media campaigns that advance McQueens Flowers brand and demand gen objectives, plus developing and optimizing content to drive SEO and qualified, organic inbound traffic to McQueens Flowers website. The ideal candidate will tell succinct visual stories that break through social chatter to drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy based on brand and demand gen objectives aligned to global, regional and go-to-market strategies
  • Develop & manage an optimal social media schedule based on the campaign calendar balanced with web traffic and customer engagement metrics across all McQueens Flowers social platforms
  • Manage McQueens Flowers presence and enforce brand standards across all social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Vimeo, Vidyard and third-party sites.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on social media performance by analyzing key reach and engagement metrics as well as campaign influence on demand and pipeline generation.
  • Monitor and respond to customer comments, reviews, and surveys to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Lead the enablement and training of social media tools and best practices for new and existing team members.

Content Development

  • Collaborate and liaise with SMEs to develop content for social platforms, including podcasts, blogs, short-form videos, LinkedIn Lives, etc.
  • Utilize AI-powered content optimization tools, such as Jasper.ai and Frase.io, to create content that improves search engine rankings and user engagement.
  • Leverage keyword tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush and 6sense to incorporate highly searched and intent-based keywords from our target accounts to optimize messaging.
  • Partner with Content Marketing team to repurpose and leverage content from industry influencers for social media platforms.

Search Engine Optimization

  • Create, analyse, and optimize on-page and off-page SEO strategies to create an optimal website experience that aligns with our customers’ journey.
  • Responsible for conducting SEO audits, performing keyword research, building high-quality backlinks, and analysing and reporting on web analytics data, including traffic, rankings and other SEO metrics.
  • Continuously evaluate website, search engine and content strategies to identify opportunities, trends, and insights leading virtual team and agency accountability for impact.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings.
  • Analyse search trends and user behaviour to develop effective SEO strategies.
  • Optimise website content, metadata, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility.
  • Collaborate with creative services and developers to implement SEO best practices.
  • Develop and execute link building strategies to enhance the website's authority and improve organic rankings.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
  • Prepare regular reports on key SEO metrics, including rankings, traffic, conversions, and user engagement.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
  • Share insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement in SEO strategies.
  • Support the web team on other optimisation activities including; planning, testing and reporting.

 

REQUIREMENT:

  • 5 years experience in B2B digital marketing preferably within a SaaS-based technology company
  • Highly proficient in English speaking and writing
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in organic social and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Strong understanding of lead tracking and routing methodologies, including experience with social media monitoring software such as, Oktopost and Hootsuite
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools for content creation
  • Experience using AI-powered content optimization tools, such as Jasper.ai and Frase.io
  • Strong knowledge of website platforms like WordPress or Drupal
  • Highly proficient in SEO techniques, both on-page and off-page, with experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and SEMRush

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SEO, preferably in a digital media or entertainment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS.

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Mayfair/Bethnal Green

Role:

The job-holder will lead the McQueens Warehouse team, playing and important role in helping to deliver the vital back-office business functions required to enable colleagues in other departments to execute the services we have committed to provide to our customers and having a direct and positive impact on the commercial success and growth of the company.

The Operations Manager spear heads the efficient and cost-effective running of the business’ commercial and physical resources and infrastructure.

The role calls for a combination of good stakeholder management, problem-solving, resourcefulness, and attention to detail - requiring the job-holder to be able to switch between long-term strategic initiatives one minute and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next.

This varied role is all about ‘getting stuff done’ and requires excellent judgement, independent initiative, a high degree of organisation, attention to detail, an ability to manage time and workload effectively, commercial acumen, an ability to be self-motivated, and excellent interpersonal skills.

 

Duties:

  • Ongoing management of third-party suppliers, specifically any supplier that contributes to the safety and security of the rest of the McQueens organisations. This includes but is not limited to; IT management, Security support, waste collection, cleaning and sanitary services, fleet services and taxes, permit management and sundries suppliers,
  • Ongoing management of buildings and fleet to ensure legal compliance
  • Working with Operations and HR team to produce weekly scheduling for the floral and installation teams and manage the fleet schedule in line with this.
  • Oversee operational activities at all levels of the organisation, working with Chief Operations Officer to ensure top productivity
  • Supporting with training of employees to ensure the necessary skills for jobs are obtained by employees
  • Management of stock flow through vend working in collaboration with the finance manager
  • In charge of scheduling freelancers as required.
  • Oversee and manage PO system and purchase process with the general floristry team, ensuring effective purchasing and cost management at all times.

Generally leading a class of aspiring florists this job-holder will demonstrate a high level of creativity and technical competence as well as well-developed communication, teamwork and organisational skills.

With more than just amazing floristry skills, this job-holder will also handle behind the scenes organisation with their impressive computer skills, lesson planning and delivery, and have a passion for inspiring and developing budding new florists’ skills.

The role calls for a combination of passion, creativity, flexibility, team-working, interpersonal skills, organisation and planning, attention to detail, and staying calm under pressure. Most of the work we do is carried out when guests are asleep or venues are closed, so early morning starts are common and night shifts sometimes necessary.

 

Duties:

  • Teaching a group of aspiring florists several different courses to the highest standard
