Students will create 3 different floral installations each celebrating a different pattern found in the natural world. Designs covered will include, signature McQueens Flowers trees, botanical sculpture and suspended designs.
The first day will be spent in our atelier in Mayfair, exploring the designs, conditioning the flowers and preparing the necessary mechanics. Days 2 and 3 will on location at Windsor Great Park, with each day focussed on installing the designs throughout the venue, working alongside our McQueens Flowers team, to create the most exquisite displays truly fit for the King! Students will also receive a ticket to attend the Royal Windsor Flower Show, Saturday 7th June 2025.
This fast-paced course offers a 360-degree learning environment, distilling the most crucial aspects for executing the most dynamic of displays. Please note that hours for this course may be longer than normal, and flexibility will be required to stay at the venue for the duration of the installation.
Due to the nature of this event, previous experience and knowledge of intermediate to advanced floristry fundamental techniques are preferred to participate on this course. Our team will reach out to ensure suitability. Please note, travel and accommodation is not included.
